Violin Improv & Vocal Cover by Marina Fahim
This is my first violin improvisation and vocal cover, recorded in only 1.5 takes to a beautiful, poetic song I had heard only a 2.0 times previously.
There’s a rich beauty to a raw edit and expression that can only be captured in that first, innocent take. Sometimes you have to bravely plunge right into new experiences with no hesitation, because these, or someone, invokes familiarity, and resonated with you all along. You may became conscious of the appreciation of the experience yourself, or with someone, after you have gone through a sine wave of gaining and losing hope, then gaining it again. Though, there’s always hope, even though it may have seemed dangerous to harness it and it felt almost lost, you still have it. You still keep trying, keep caring, keep daring, and not give up to experience what drew you in, in the first place, the first take.
